The linear weighers are separate, cooperating devices that are typically mounted to the packaging machinery. The primary purpose of the dosing apparatus is to divide the product into predetermined quantities that are predetermined by the operator. The prepared doses are then delivered to the packaging machines. 

The 4 head linear weigher excels in both calculating accuracy and range. It measures and distributes goods quickly and accurately. Additionally, it is suitable for calculating a wide range of dry goods, including granular powders and tiny pieces of erratic forms and sizes.

The weigher typically comprises vibrating channels that feed product into the weighing hoppers. The weighing scales, which gauge the product’s weight, are coupled with the hoppers. The vibrating channel halts when the measured weight in the hopper attains the predetermined value, providing the hopper time to unload the quantity into the packing device.
