Manganese steel is an alloy of ordinary steel and carbon. It is a high-strength steel material with excellent compression, wear, and impact resistance. Under strong impact and extrusion, its surface rapidly undergoes work hardening. While the hardened layer provides outstanding wear resistance, the core retains the good toughness and ductility of austenite — a unique property not found in other materials. Manganese steel is commonly used in bridges, railway construction, military applications (such as steel helmets, tank frames, and armor-piercing projectiles), and automotive steel plates.
Product Advantages
- The single wheel inner core is made of Taiwan polypropylene (PP), and the outer covering is made of special thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It features excellent tear resistance, wear resistance, resilience, shock absorption, and oil resistance.
- The bracket is made of high-quality steel plate. The upper and lower tracks of the ball race are made of manganese steel and treated with a special process, making Zhuoye manganese steel casters easier to push and more durable.
- The grease used for the caster wave plate and bearings is molybdenum disulfide lithium-based grease, which provides outstanding extreme pressure and anti-wear performance, low friction coefficient, and strong load capacity. It also has excellent metal surface adhesion and rust resistance, a wide operating temperature range, superior water flushing resistance, corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance. It maintains lubrication even when dried out, ensuring Zhuoye manganese steel casters have a much longer service life than traditional casters.
- According to third-party testing results, the surface plastic spraying treatment of the casters achieves an appearance grade of Level 8. In comparison, traditional electrophoretic treatment only reaches Level 2, and traditional galvanizing treatment only reaches Level 1 (see Figure 1).
