CR, CRI and CRN pumps are vertical multistage centrifugal pumps. The in-line design of the pump enables it to be installed in a horizontal single-pipe system where the inlet and outlet of the system are at the same level and have the same pipe size. This design makes the pump more compact.

Application
CR, CRI and CRN pumps can cover a wide range of applications, such as:
• Water supply
• Cooling
• Heating
• Pressurization
• Water treatment
• Transfer of hot and cold clean liquids.
Pumped liquids
CR, CRI and CRN pumps are suitable for pumping thin, clean, non-flammable, non-combustible or non-explosive liquids without solid particles or fibers.
If the density and/or viscosity of the pumped liquid is greater than that of water, please use a motor with a higher output power as needed.
Whether a pump is suitable for a specific liquid depends on many factors, the most important of which are the chloride content, pH value, temperature, and the content of chemicals and oils. For information on which type of pump is suitable for a specific liquid, please consult Grundfos.
