2.2 Functional Features
This fully automatic rotary labeling machine was developed by Chaoyue's senior technical team based on introducing advanced foreign technologies and tailored for domestic users. While comprehensively upgrading the product, we have fully considered the actual needs of domestic customers, making the equipment's cost-performance ratio optimal among similar products. High speed, precise positioning, labor reduction and perfect packaging are the design philosophies of this equipment. It is suitable for beverage and health food factories, with beautiful appearance and easy cleaning and maintenance functions. This machine has obtained five national technical patents with patent numbers: 201721567274.4, 201721602767.7, 201721567359.2, 201921334967.8 and 201922382917.3.
This series of labeling machines has a wide range of applications, suitable for various round bottles, square bottles and special-shaped bottles, such as plastic bottles, glass bottles, PVC, PET, iron cans and other containers for food, beverages, cleaning products, pharmaceuticals, wine bottles, etc. It can be fully connected with the production line for operation, and can label empty bottles or filled bottles. Fully automatic high-speed labeling saves a lot of labor costs and greatly improves the appearance effect of products.
The main performance of the equipment is summarized as follows:
- Multi-functional labeling option: Supports dual-label positioning labeling function.
- All components are processed by CNC machining with high-precision fitting, ensuring the equipment's accuracy level, stable operation and low noise.
- All components adopt a closed design to prevent dust.
- Professional waterproof design ensures all bearings operate in a dry environment.
- The label feeding station runs linearly and synchronously with the main machine, that is, the main machine's running speed is automatically adjusted according to the bottle feeding speed of the upstream production line, and the label feeding accuracy of the label feeding station is not affected.
- Driven by servo motors to achieve true closed-loop control, high-precision subdivision, and built-in absolute encoders to meet high-speed and high-precision positioning requirements.
- The label head adopts a dual pressure roller structure, which ensures the label is tightened and avoids label breakage caused by die-cut damage to the backing paper. The segmented clutch makes the tension more balanced.
- 8-dimensional space adjustment of the label head provides powerful and flexible adjustment capability, and accurate labeling for any product can be completed within a few minutes.
- Advanced and user-friendly independent control HMI, operation parameters can be stored and recalled. Any abnormal situation is displayed on the HMI and guides troubleshooting. It is easy to operate, and anyone can easily operate and quickly use the equipment.
- The PLC control system ensures that the whole machine's actions and speeds are adjustable in an orderly manner with stable performance.

2.3 Working Process
Products are conveyed by the upstream conveyor belt → conveyed by the plate chain conveyor belt → separated by the bottle separating screw or bottle separating star wheel → fed by the infeed star wheel → pre-positioned → detected by the photoelectric eye → Labeling Station 1 receives the photoelectric eye signal and feeds the front label → the label is quickly applied to the bottle body → the bottle rotates 180° while the label pressing mechanism straightens the front label → Labeling Station 2 receives the photoelectric eye signal and feeds the back label → the bottle reverses 180° while the label pressing mechanism straightens the back label → finished products are output through the plate chain conveyor belt.

2.4 Mechanical Structure

Adopts mechanical positioning labeling, oil cylinder cam track design structure and elastic positioning pin structure for bottle holders, realizing labeling at any specified position on the container.

Equipped with a container flow monitoring device, and the running speed can be automatically adjusted.

Electric lifting of the bottle pressing head, which can be operated on the HMI when changing products with different heights for convenient adjustment.

Safety clutch design for infeed and outfeed star wheels, which automatically stops and alarms when bottles are jammed.

Non-damaging bottle separating star wheel mechanism or bottle separating screw mechanism can be selected according to different bottle materials. PET bottles adopt non-damaging bottle separating star wheel structure with all stainless steel star wheels and guide plates, which have high smoothness, eliminate bottle body scratches caused by friction, and completely solve the problem of bottle abrasion by traditional screws. Glass bottles adopt bottle separating screw structure to prevent bottle explosion.

Fully waterproof bottle holder structure, which can adapt to various bottle types such as square bottles and special-shaped bottles and various labeling processes. No need to replace main components, and production changeover is fast.

Label shortage alarm: Alarms when labels are about to run out to remind operators to prepare for label replacement.

Bottle shortage alarm: The equipment runs at reduced speed when there are few bottles; the main shaft stops and alarms when there are no bottles; production automatically resumes when bottles are available, facilitating online production.

Full machine safety guard, the machine automatically stops when the safety door is opened.

The label feeder has a simple and reasonable layout, stable at high speed.
- Dual pressure roller label feeding helps improve labeling accuracy. Since the label is rolled by the active pressure roller before labeling, it helps eliminate label wrinkles, improve labeling quality and use up the last label.
- Two-stage swing rod spring type label feeding clutch with additional belt brake realizes high-speed constant tension label feeding.

Adopts German and Japanese sensors with high sensitivity and convenient adjustment, highly ensuring labeling accuracy.

Human-machine interactive touch screen with more user-friendly touch control, which is not only simple and intuitive to operate with complete functions, but also has rich help functions and fault display functions.

Labeling parameters can be stored, and preset labeling parameters can be called. No need to reset when changing products, that is, it has a memory storage program function. Different programs can be named, and only different parameters need to be adjusted when changing different specifications or adopting different production capacities, which greatly improves work efficiency.

Adopts imported electrical components from world-renowned brands. The control system uses Siemens PLC, the main shaft mechanism uses servo motors, and the labeling stations use Yaskawa (Japan) servo motors to ensure the long-term stability and reliability of the whole machine.

The conveyor line of this labeling machine is not equipped with a motor; it uses the motor of the upstream filling conveyor line. Alternatively, it can be connected in parallel, and the specific design shall be made according to the actual layout drawing.
