Main Characteristics
The plants grow rapidly with strong vigor and are early-to-mid-maturing. The first inflorescence emerges at the 4th node of the main vine. The leaves are light green and slightly large, with few branches. Flowering and pod-setting are abundant in the middle canopy. The commercial pods are tender green with smooth surfaces, uniform thickness from top to bottom, 70-80cm in length, about 0.8cm in transverse diameter, and thick flesh. The variety demonstrates good tolerance to aging and transportation, a high rate of double pods, excellent marketability, and strong resistance. It is suitable for cultivation across China under optimal growth temperatures of 15-30°C.
Recommended Cultivation Periods Under Suitable Temperatures
- Spring: February 15th to April 15th (harvestable in approximately 60-65 days after sowing)
- Summer-Autumn: July 20th to August 20th (harvestable in approximately 45 days after sowing)
Seed dosage per mu: 2.5-3.5kg. Under normal climate and intensive management conditions, the yield can reach 2000-4000kg per mu (1 mu ≈ 0.0667 hectares).
Cultivation Measures
During the seedling stage, control nitrogen application and irrigation to prevent excessive vegetative growth. However, apply sufficient base fertilizer and potassium fertilizer. During the harvesting period, reapply compound fertilizer and ensure adequate water supply. During the growing period, pay attention to preventing and controlling powdery mildew, rust, mites, and legume pod borers.
