It is generally made of high-purity purple copper and has a pot-shaped round head. The top side is for fixing screws, and the end is for the stripped copper core of the wire or cable. There are two types: oil-blocking type and tube-pressing type. The oil-blocking type is better. To resist air oxidation, it is tin-plated, that is, a layer of tin is plated on the surface of the copper nose to prevent oxidation and blackening. Copper noses are used for wires larger than 16 square, while wires smaller than 16 square do not use copper noses but cold-pressed wire noses instead. Copper noses can be divided into tin-plated and non-tin-plated tube-pressing oil-blocking types. DT tin-plated copper terminal is based on the original DT copper terminal, with a layer of "tin" plated on the surface to enhance the conductivity of the DT copper terminal.
