This independent laboratory unit is suitable for HTST (High Temperature, Short Time) pasteurization of various low-viscosity fluid foods up to 20 liters per hour.
Products that may have undergone pasteurization include raw milk, honey, fruit juice, skimmed milk, mixed ice cream, soft drinks, medicines and margarine emulsions.
Equipped with CIP (Clean-In-Place) facilities, it can perform sterilization, pre-rinsing, detergent washing and final rinsing. The ability to change process conditions has been built into the device in the following forms:
Plate-type stainless steel heat exchanger - cooling, regeneration and heating sections, installed on a common frame and working, are easy to disassemble, allowing for reconfiguration and inspection of the heat transfer surface.
Electrically heated hot water circulation system for pasteurization and CIP cycles - Any required temperature at the outlet of the insulated pipe is set on the power output controller of the water heater based on the microprocessor indication.
Stainless steel insulated pipe, with a holding time allowed between 5 seconds and 2 minutes.
Accurately monitor the flow rates of the feed pump, cooling water and hot water.
At six selected locations (out of nine available), the temperature in the system is monitored at each location by a thermocouple sensor.
