The Lever Float Proportional Control Steam Trap features proportional adjustment based on condensate discharge changes, high capacity, long life, excellent energy saving, and impact resistance.
Newton has applied a rotary shaft controller to this trap, solving issues of short lifespan and poor sealing. The design considers shell strength, pressure-temperature ratings, casting processability, flow channels, and impact from water-steam mixtures.
It operates based on the density difference between steam and condensate. When the body is filled with cold condensate and non-condensable gases, the air vent opens. As the float rises, it rotates the controller valve core to proportionally increase the seat orifice until fully open. As condensate is discharged, the float moves down to proportionally close the orifice.
Key advantages include suitability for variable discharge environments, high back pressure rate (operates at 0.01 bar differential), reliable action, and zero live steam leakage.
