The VMV MT1 Pneumatic Diaphragm Actuator features a single-spring structure, offering a compact design with high output force. It converts a pneumatic signal from a positioner or solenoid valve into a linear output displacement. The actuator supports both direct action (D), where increasing air pressure drives the stem down, and reverse action (R), where increasing air pressure drives the stem up. Field action-type reversal is easily achieved by flipping the upper and lower diaphragm chambers. A built-in internal air passage from the positioner to the actuator eliminates the need for external tubing. It operates with an air supply of 0.4–0.6 MPa, using compressed air or nitrogen as the medium. The standard ambient temperature range is −29°C to +70°C, with a low-temperature option extending to −40°C to +70°C. The diaphragm boasts a fatigue life exceeding 200,000 cycles.
