PO-700 Oxidizing Bactericide-Algaecide is a new-type, high-efficiency broad-spectrum bactericide and algaecide. It can undergo cross-linking chemical reactions with amino groups on the cell surface, inhibit protein synthesis, and cause changes in the internal structure of proteins leading to coagulation—thereby exerting its bactericidal performance. It can kill aerobic and anaerobic organisms as well as algae. Additionally, it can be adsorbed on the surface of bacterial cells, damaging the protoplasmic membrane that controls bacterial permeability and causing bacterial death.
During use, bacteria rarely develop resistance to PO-700 Oxidizing Bactericide-Algaecide. In addition to its strong bactericidal effect, this product also has excellent penetration and stripping capabilities. It can coexist with many salts, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, dispersants, and even chlorine. It has surface fluidity, allowing it to easily penetrate the protective layer formed by sludge and kill the bacteria beneath this layer.
Application Scope
PO-700 Oxidizing Bactericide-Algaecide is suitable for bactericidal and algaecidal treatment in circulating cooling water systems of industries such as oilfield water injection, petrochemicals, medicine, electric power, and metallurgy. It can also be used for slime stripping in various heat exchangers and cooling towers.
Usage Method
PO-700 Oxidizing Bactericide-Algaecide is applicable to various water qualities. The general dosage is 50–120 mg/L, and the actual dosage depends on specific conditions. It is dosed in a shock manner: the general dosage is 100–200 ppm, and 200–300 ppm when used for slime stripping during cleaning.
Packaging, Storage, Transportation and Precautions
It is packaged in plastic barrels, with 25 kg per barrel or a customized quantity as per user requirements. Store it in a cool indoor place, with a shelf life of 12 months. The product is suitable for conventional transportation; avoid exposure to direct sunlight during transportation. Pay attention to labor protection during operation, and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
