Product Properties
This product is an oil-free powdered soybean lecithin or sunflower seed lecithin product. Its raw material is concentrated lecithin from the soybean or sunflower seed oil pressing process, which is made into powdered lecithin through purification processes including deoiling and deodorization.
The total phospholipid content is no less than 97%, with an HLB value of approximately 7. The product is hygroscopic, readily disperses and swells in water; it is insoluble in acetone, soluble in diethyl ether and n-hexane, and partially soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and isopropanol.
