III. Properties: A pale yellow to yellow viscous liquid at room temperature. It has a slightly bitter taste and is soluble in water, ethanol, ethyl acetate and toluene, but insoluble in mineral oils and vegetable oils. It possesses emulsifying, wetting and foaming properties and is classified as an O/W emulsifier with an HLB value of 16.7.

V. Applications: Used as a solubilising agent in food and cosmetics, and as an emulsifier in various oil-in-water emulsions. In the textile industry, it is used as an antistatic agent and lubricant.

VI. Packaging: Small square PE drums with double lids, available in 25 kg and 220 kg drums.

VII. Storage and Transport: Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Do not store together with hazardous substances.
