On May 12th, the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association held the second session of the Standardization Technical Committee's re-election meeting in Luohe, Henan Province. Our company's General Manager, Yang Shipei, was elected as a member of the new Standardization Technical Committee.
At the meeting, the committee members listened attentively to the report on the work of the first session of the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association, which was delivered by Ding Shaohui, the deputy secretary-general of the association, on behalf of the committee. The meeting also deliberated on the charter of the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association and the management measures for the formulation and revision of group standards of the association.
The meeting held that since the establishment of the first Standardization Technical Committee of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association, efforts have been made to strengthen the standard system construction, comprehensively carry out the formulation and revision of group standards for packaging and food machinery, effectively promote the implementation of important standards, and the standardization work of packaging and food machinery has made considerable progress, providing strong support for the high-quality development of the industry and industry supervision. The meeting emphasized that the second Standardization Technical Committee of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association should thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, take the new development concepts as the guidance, accurately grasp the new requirements put forward by the new situation for the standardization work of packaging and food machinery, further optimize the standard system, strengthen the formulation and revision of standards in important fields, effectively improve the quality of standards, strengthen the publicity and implementation of standards, enhance the ability of standards to support the high-quality development of the industry, and promote the standardization work of packaging and food machinery to a new level.
President Chu Yufeng mentioned in his concluding remarks that this meeting was highly productive and successful. It unified everyone's thoughts and understanding, lifted spirits, and clarified the work approach and tasks, which was very encouraging.
At the same time, President Chu Yufeng called for the collaboration among national standards, industry standards, and group standards, and the establishment of a new mechanism for the coordinated advancement of standard construction. In specific practice, the lack of uniformity in standards has also imposed certain constraints on the development of the industry. Therefore, the new session of the Standards Committee must systematically construct an industrial standardization system, strengthen the top-level design of the standard system, coordinate the synergy among national standards, industry standards, and group standards, and optimize and enhance the standard construction in aspects such as systematic construction, system access, coordinated matching, traceability, and scientific expression, to promote the top-level design of standards to be more scientific and reasonable.
Finally, President Chu Yufeng hopes that the new members of the standardization committee will base themselves on their own job responsibilities, always maintain a spirit of keeping pace with the times and a pragmatic working style, pool the strength and wisdom of the entire industry, accelerate the formulation and revision of standards, promote the healthy, sustainable and stable development of China's food equipment industry, and strive to make the standardization construction of China's food and packaging machinery industry more brilliant and more glorious.
